David Neale

Monday, February 1, 2010
What struck me most about the work of David Neale is the painter like quality of his pieces. I normally view wearing jewellery as wearing little works of art but this especially applies here.

I spotted these lovelies by Jade Gallup whilst wandering around the Sunday Upmarket, each one is made from glazed and unglazed porcelain. I think the little rabbit is my favourite but the brooches come a close second.

All by me me me
(take a peek at my other blog to see some of Jade's homewares...all equally lovely!)

Aren't the colours amazing?

PE/AH

I love this brooch by PE/AH, whose jewellery is defined as combining "quality, wit and sophistication, luxury and purity, modernity and elegance." I think that's a lovely description for her work, especially the childrens line she has created, it's lovely!

Tina Lilienthal

Thursday, April 5, 2007

Tina Lilienthal has approached the inclusion of skulls and bones with a twist, making them look sweet when combining them with juicy looking fruit.
