I spotted these lovelies by Jade Gallup whilst wandering around the Sunday Upmarket, each one is made from glazed and unglazed porcelain. I think the little rabbit is my favourite but the brooches come a close second.

I love this brooch by PE/AH, whose jewellery is defined as combining "quality, wit and sophistication, luxury and purity, modernity and elegance." I think that's a lovely description for her work, especially the childrens line she has created, it's lovely!

Stephanie Simek

Oh dear....long time no see...New Year's resolution...blog more over here!!!

A while ago I got an email from jeweller Stephanie Simek, who creates her pieces based around "a union of experimental and precious materials" including human hair, egg shells, gold leaf and sterling silver. I took a peek and absolutely loved what she had made. The combined delicacy and quirkiness of her jewellery makes each piece seem very personal and fun at the same time. I'd actually read about her eyelash necklace over here but had forgotten to follow up the link, so thank you getting in touch Stephanie!
